Why is Texas Tech a Favorite for the CWS

There are a lot of teams that are out there that can say that they deserve to be a contender for the CWS, only Texas Tech Red Raiders are able to actually back this claim up. The reasons as to why they are able to be considered for the CWS this season is because they have placed a lot of work into the team in order to ensure that they will have a team this season that will be worth anything.

Many people do not think of Texas Tech when they are talking about the team in a way that allows them to consider the Texas Tech Red Raiders as a contender. There is a lot of people that need to give the team a little bit more consideration when they are talking about the Red Raiders. This as a result will need to invoke the people of Texas Tech to be a consideration for the CWS championship.

One of the things that will help to drive the team forward in their championship drive, is the great pitching that the Red Raiders will benefit from when the starters that they have signed take to the mound this spring. This as a result will lead the team to have an excellent opportunity that they can make the most out of this season. Along with the strong starters, there will be a lot of power that will be present in the fact that there are a lot of closers that can seal the game up for Texas Tech.

There will be a lot of pitching power that will be in the bullpen for the Red Raiders. There is a pitching rotation that will lead the team to score a number of strikeouts against their opponents, this will also yield a number of players that can come in and close the game out for the Red Raiders.

If the other team does get lucky in the fact of scoring a run, there will need to be a great outfield that will need to be in place in order to ensure that the runners do not advance more than they really should. This great outfield will be a key element in the defense of the Red Raiders team. This as a result will be the one thing that will give a lot of teams a lot of trouble in the way of getting extra bases when at bat.

Injuries will be the only weak spot that I can see keeping the Yankees from winning this season. This is a team that had the best record last year, this in turn allowed the team to dominate the competition and not lose that many games. There seriously is not a weak spot that I can see when it comes to the 2010 season for the Yankees.

If you are a fan of the Yankees then this will be the best year for you, if you are looking for a team that will deliver the best season in all of MLB then you are going to look at the Yankees. This team will be leading the majors with all sorts of records, the teams that face the Yankee bull pen will know that they made a mistake with the first pitch. After this season there will be few doubts as to why the Yankees will be the new team to be called America’s team. After all America loves a winner, and nothing says winner like the Yankees.
