If you were to have looked into a crystal ball in the first part of the season, there would have been a lot of confusion as to what does the rest of the season hold in store for the team From New York. No we are talking about the Mets. This team looked like they were for the most part done and was not going to make an impressive run in 2010. Well here we are and the Mets are stronger than they have been in a long time.

Even heading into Spring Training, there was doubts that the team would be able to hold together to get a single win this season. Then the unthinkable happened, they became a team and instead of falling apart, became a lot stronger.

The preseason was full of players that went to have surgery without the team knowing, players that went missing and just an overall sense of disorganization. Things have changed in a big way for the Mets. They found the missing players. The one that had his surgery is back better than ever and now things look like a well oiled machine for the Mets.

The Bullpen that many people were laughing at during spring training is now one of the more respected ones in all of baseball. This is due to a displace that has been placed in the bullpen. Players are to be on time and failure to do so will result in punishment. This has led to a sense of dedication in the pitching rotation.

Depending on who you talk to, will depend on what the answer will be as to the impact that the Mets will have in the second half of the season. There are several experts that see this as being a short lived burst that the team is experiencing for the moment.
